Medical Device Resource Corporation was formed to develop, manufacture, market and distribute healthcare products to hospitals, surgeons and medical specialty markets worldwide, with a focus on liposuction surgical products and supplies for the aesthetic market.

History

M.D. Engineering was founded in 1985 and became one of the most respected companies in the lipoplasty surgery industry. It was well positioned with several patents and had the first and most economical implosion proof canister, the LS7020. The LS1000 Power Aspirator, the flagship suction aspirator of the company, continues to be used in hospitals, clinics, and by doctors around the world. M.D. Engineering was purchased in 1996 by Melbourne Kimsey II.

Today

Medical Device Resource Corporation, or MD Resource, was formed in 1998. The breadth of product line has expanded through research and development and through acquisition. In 2004, MD Resource (MDRC) acquired Reliance Medical of Grand Junction, Colorado. All of those liposuction and tumescent surgical products will continue to be serviced and supported by MDRC. The LS1000, though still supported, has been replaced by an expanding aspirator line with the LS Models, and RM2000 models including the Titan and NX Pumps. We continue to expand on the liposuction cannula line, which includes micro cannulae of all types, as well as our lipo-garment line, all types of lipo-tubing, tumescent infiltration pumps, fat transfer products and suction lipectomy instruments. We welcome input by customers and all clinicians who feel there are advances and improvements we can make.
